ATTENTION USD #284 FAMILIES:
I just wanted to take this opportunity to say THANK YOU for all of your patience and dedication to these children! This year has already been nothing short of the wildest roller coaster known to man, and yet this county has stepped up to the plate and hit a home run! It means so much to these kids to be able to carry on with education, relationships, and extracurricular activities, and that just wouldn’t be possible in these trying times without the dedication and patience of you, the parents and caregivers. Your attention to detail and communication has enabled us to keep illness out of our buildings and has allowed for these children and young adults to function as they should. We all know this day and age can be challenging at best, and the day-to-day changes being made at all levels can be just down right frustrating.
These challenges haven’t stopped this Bulldog Family from doing their due diligence and making every effort to keep these children safe and healthy. We, as a district and county, must continue to make the necessary choices, allowing our buildings to remain open and functioning for the well-being of ALL individuals, staff included. The key to maintaining this memorable journey is open and honest communication, benefiting the greater good of our community. If you ever have any questions or concerns in regards to the safety and well-being of our young population, please don’t hesitate to contact me. Again, I cannot reiterate enough that communication is key, along with proper hygiene, of course!
Keep up the good work Bulldog Family, we truly appreciate your dedication to this generation!
Sincerely and Best Wishes,
Amber Schlup, LPN
