HS Football Update:
Tonight's football game is at Madison. The gate will be free-will donation for a Madison gentleman who has brain cancer. Otherwise the gate will be $1 for students and $4 for adults.

Cross Country Regionals CCJSHS will be hosting the high school regional cross country at the Tallgrass National Prairie Preserve. The girls will run at 11 am and the boys will run at 11:40 am. Come out and support our Bulldogs!
Other teams will be Belle Plaine HS, Conway Springs HS, Berean Academy, Garden Plain HS, Herington HS, Hillsboro HS, Hutchinson-Trinity Catholic HS, Inman HS, Leon-Bluestem HS, Marion HS, Moundridge HS, Sedgwick HS, Sterling HS, Remington HS, Wichita-The Independent HS

HS VB Update:
The high school volleyball team will travel to Remington High School (8850 NW Meadowlark Rd, Whitewater) for Substate on Saturday, Oct. 22. They will face Moundridge High School. Although the tournament starts at 2:00 pm, the girls will not play until around 3:00.

The KAYS organization is holding a paper drive at tonight’s football game.
Bring your paper goods to school or to the game Friday night to stock the C4 Food Pantry shelves. Items needed include toilet paper, paper towels, diapers, facial tissue, etc. Look for the truck at the gate to drop off your items.

The JH Volleyball League Tournament is at Lyndon tomorrow (Saturday, Oct. 15), starting at 9:00 am. Chase County will start action during the second match. The pool play schedule is included with this post. Good luck, Lady Bulldogs.


Here is the schedule for the High School Volleyball League Tournament at Council Grove. They will have three courts going and will play first available court starting with Game 4.

The location of the HIGH SCHOOL league volleyball tournament on Saturday, October 15, has changed. The tournament will be held in Council Grove starting at 9 am. Brackets and information on the tournament will be available on the Facebook page, through the USD 284 app, or the Live Feed on the website later today.

JH FB CALENDAR CHANGE AND UPDATE:
Thursday’s GAME WILL START AT 6:00 pm (not 6:30). We will play at Highland Park located at 2424 SE California Avenue in Topeka. Leave time will be 3:00!!! Passes will NOT be accepted as they do not have passes so everyone will need to pay.

CCES Lunch Menu Change:
Due to delivery issues, tomorrow's lunch menu will be hamburger on buns and the menu for October 19 will be corn dogs.

The C-4 Food Pantry needs your help!
Students, parents, and community members can either bring the paper goods to school this week so we can fill Mr. C's office or bring the items to the football game Friday!


On Friday, Oct. 14, the Spirit Squad will host Parents' Night for cross country, cheer and football. The ceremony will begin at 6:15 p.m. due to the large number of senior athletes, coaches and parents to be honored. The event will take place on the west side of the field.

Parents' Night for Volleyball will be held tonight in the north gym before the last varsity game against Northern Heights.

We have a change on Wednesday's Board of Education meeting. The meeting will start at 6:00 pm at CCES for a facilities tour. We will reconvene at 7 pm in the Board Office.

Don't forget that we don't have school on Monday, October 10 due to a staff professional development day.
