Hello, Bulldog Families:
Please continue to monitor your students for illness before they head to school in the mornings. Students should remain home if they are showing any sign(s) of illness. There is Influenza and Covid circulating at this time, along with the common cold. Even if you suspect it is your student’s "yearly bug", please KEEP THEM HOME! Some children are unable to specify how they aren't feeling well so even if their complaint is vague, please keep them home to monitor them and allow them to rest, along with plenty of fluids. Lastly, please continue to remind students to wash their hands often, avoid touching their face, and to always cover their cough!
If students are being tested/treated for any illnesses, please contact the appropriate school building for notification. USD #284 still offers testing for Covid, Influenza A and Influenza B; please contact schlupa@usd284.org for more information. The CCHD (Chase County Health Department) also has testing available for Covid, Influenza A&B, Strep throat and RSV; please call the CCHD to set up testing: 273-6377.
Thank you all and stay well,
Amber
